Commercial AC and VRF error codes.

Ductable, cassette, tower and VRV/VRF systems report faults through a wired controller or remote display. These are shared across multiple indoor units on one refrigerant circuit, so one fault can affect a whole floor.

Note on VRF systems: a single VRF fault can be raised by any one of several indoor units sharing an outdoor unit. Always note which indoor unit’s controller first showed the code — it narrows the fault fast.
